Last night I went to the New York premiere of “They Came Together,” a film by David Wain (writer of “Wet Hot American Summer”) and it was great! The film itself was funny and smart; a spoof on the traditional romantic comedy, it played around with all the traditional tropes of the genre. Of course, Amy Poehler and Paul Rudd were adorbs, and the supporting cast (Ellie Kemper, Jason Mantzoukas, Bill Hader, Cobie Smulders, Christopher Meloni, Max Greenfield, Ed Helms, Michael Ian Black, so many!) were fantastic as well. There was a Q&A after with Wain, Poehler, Rudd, Kemper, and Mantzoukas which was delightful and lovely, but mostly awkward. The audience (in true Brooklyn fashion) had no idea what to ask and mostly just went up to the microphone and gushed at the actors. But it was a great time all the same. Highly recommend you guys check it out when it’s released on Friday.
Coming October 28, 2014. Can’t wait.
Every February 13th, my lady friends and I leave our husbands and our boyfriends at home, and we just come and kick-it, breakfast style. Ladies celebrating ladies. It’s like the Lilith Fair. Minus the angst. Plus frittatas.
My my, what change a year can bring.

From the Emmy’s on Sunday.
My sister and I had a detailed discussion over whether or not Jon Hamm dyes his hair and we decided that he probably does, but only for Mad Men, and that when the show is over he will be beautiful in all of his salt-and-pepper glory. Thoughts?
